Troy Bayliss will swap two wheels for four on December 14 when he represents Australia in the Race of Champions alongside F1 pilot Mark Webber.
The two-time World Superbike Champion and current WSB standings leader will be a motorcycling representative against some of the best car drivers in the world.
The event held at Wembley Stadium is a concoction of different four-wheeled racing, pitting two-man nation teams against each other.
Already confirmed for this year alongside the Aussie duo are Michael Schumacher, Andy Priaulx and Jenson Button.
Bayliss isn’t the first biker to compete – Valentino Rossi and James Toseland have also tried their hands at the one-off spectacular, and last year Travis Pastrana showed his rallying abilities for Team USA.
Bayliss said: “I am really excited to be part of the Australian team alongside Mark Webber this year at The Race of Champions,” said Bayliss.
“It’s the first time there has been an Aussie contingent so we will be looking forward to having a good time there.”
